New Daylight - Your daily Bible reading, comment and prayer

New Daylight cover image

Each issue of New Daylight provides four months of daily Bible readings and comment, with a regular team of contributors drawn from a range of church backgrounds.

New Daylight covers a varied selection of Old and New Testament, biblical themes, characters and seasonal readings.

Each day offers a short Bible passage (text included), thought-provoking comment and a prayer or point for reflection, and aims to give a fresh, devotional approach to Bible reading.

It is ideal for anyone wanting an accessible yet stimulating aid to spending time with God each day, deepening their faith and their knowledge of scripture.

New Daylight is available in regular print, deluxe format, daily email, audio and braille, Kindle eBook and as an app for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android.

Sally WelchNew Daylight is commissioned and edited by Sally Welch, and is published three times a year in January, May and September.

*Advisory Note on September and January issues of Newdaylight*

In New Daylight, at the foot of each Sunday page, we usually show how that day is marked in the church calendar (for example, 'The Sixteenth Sunday of Trinity'). You may have noticed that the footers are missing from the current issue.

If you wish, you can download this list of the missing Sunday markers, from September 2016 to April 2017 here: New Daylight Sept 16 and Jan 17 festival footers

They will appear as usual in the May 2017 issue. We apologise for the omissions.
